Currently, under the Schengen agreement, there are 26 countries participating in the Schengen area including: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Luxemburg, Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Sweden, Italy, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, and Norway, Iceland and Switzerland.

Schengen visa, simply said, whether you are a Vietnamese citizen or a foreign citizen, you only need to be granted a Schengen visa by one of the above 26 countries to be able to travel in the entire Schengen area. However, the Schengen visa is not a common visa of the entire European Union EU. For some countries that are not part of the Schengen Agreement (UK, Ireland, Romania, Bulgaria, Cyprus), you need to apply for a separate visa when you want to visit these countries.

So, is it difficult to apply for a powerful visa like a Schengen visa, and what should be noted? Let's find the answer with EZ in this article!

1. Which country is the easiest to apply for a Schengen Visa?

It is difficult to answer this question because Easy or difficult depends on the situation of each country at each time, especially in the context of complicated epidemics, the change and adjustment of policies often take place. .

However, according to EZ's experience, France, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain are the countries with the easiest Schengen visa processing. Other countries such as Germany, Poland, Czech Republic... will have a longer and stricter review process and time.

For Vietnamese citizens, when applying for a Schengen visa, it is necessary to have the approval of ALL countries in the Schengen area to be granted a Schengen visa. Because of this, the review time can be quite long.
